Statehouse

U.S. state legislative data

The legislative record, machine-readable.

Statehouse archives bills, votes, hearings, and calendars from U.S. statehouses — byte-exact copies of the official documents, extracted deterministically, checked against the state's own record, and served to agents and applications over MCP and REST.

API access is in private preview — write to contact@statehousedata.com.

Archive first

Every source document is preserved exactly as published, forever. Data is extracted from the archive, never from a live page — and every fact links back to the document it came from.

Verified against the record

The state's own publications are the only authority. Vote arithmetic, text derivations, and completeness are checked continuously; anything that fails is withheld, not served. Missing beats wrong.

A welcome guest

Collection is identified, rate-limited, and scheduled off-peak, using the bulk channels states publish for exactly this purpose. Read the collection policy.
